William James "Jack" Liba

WILLIAM JAMES “JACK” LIBA, age 93 of Bainbridge Twp. passed away on December 23, 2024. Beloved husband of Mary Jo (nee Krempasky) for 63 years; dear uncle to many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and great nephews. Jack was born in Cleveland in 1931. He graduated from West Technical High School and attended the Cleveland Institute of Art. Jack was then called into military duty in the Army, serving with the 578th Engineering Division during the Korean War. Following the war, he worked for the Cleveland Plain Dealer for over 40 years and was the Advertising Art & Copy Director upon his retirement. Cremation. Friends and family received at ST. JOHN FUNERAL HOME, 16381 CHILLICOTHE RD. (RT 306), CHAGRIN FALLS, 44023 (2.5 MILES NORTH OF RT. 422), MONDAY, DECEMBER 30 FROM 3 – 6 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial to follow on Tuesday, December 31 at St. Helen Catholic Church, 12060 Kinsman Rd., Newbury Twp., OH 44065 at 11:00 A.M. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to St. Helen Catholic Church.
