ROBERT G. SAFKO, age 90, of Newbury. Beloved husband of Dolores (nee Kiss) for 70 years;loving father of Roberta (Thomas Jr.) Gurko, Barbara (Rodrigo Sr.) Madrigal, and Kelly (Rick) Ketring; dearest grandfather of Thomas Gurko III, Timothy Gurko, Anne Marie Balcer, Rodrigo Madrigal Jr., Raquel Castro, Amy Ketring, and William Ketring; dear great-grandfather of 8; brother of JoAnn (Karl) Beres and late Donald (late Helen) Safko ; brother-in-law of Laverne (late Vincent) Turco; beloved “Uncle Bob” and “Grandpa” to many. Veteran, U.S. Army Korean Conflict.  Friends received at the ST.
