Philip F. Simoni

Philip Frank Simoni, 79 years old, formerly of Bedford, OH.

Loving husband of the late Marian Simoni; proud Father to Mark (Robin) Simoni and Matt Simoni; dearest Brother to Dolores (Roger) Pelligrino and friend to many.

In his own words, “I lived a great life.”

He found his passion with work and love for his family early in life and never looked back.

Married for almost 50 years before Marian’s passing. Now reunited with her forever in Heaven.

A faithful Christian. 

A proud cancer survivor.

Phil was an Operating Engineer and Local 18 Union member for 60 years.

He loved to talk with anyone! 

But more importantly, he listened. So many people shared that when he asked how they were doing, he listened and really cared about them.

He took time to take people to lunch, give thoughtful gifts, send a card or donate to help those in need.

He loved Turner Classic movies.

He loved Westerns and cowboy guns.

He loved Invicta watches.

He loved his tattoos.

He loved animals.

He loved classic cars.

Until his last day, Phil practiced the following lessons that will be remembered by all those whose lives he touched.
Never give up.

Have hope.

Care for and love others.

Learn new things

Laugh and don’t take life too seriously.

Be grateful.
