Paul G. Dunlavey

Paul George Dunlavey, 80, passed into eternal life on November 28, 2022.  Paul was born on December 11,1941 in Batavia, New York.  Beloved husband of Diann (nee Gray) for 58 years, and father of Patty (Rich) Dyer, Susan (David) Kalman, Paul (Becky) Dunlavey and Michael (Nikki) Dunlavey.  Paul adored his many grandchildren including Matthew (Amanda) and Madeline Dyer; Sarah (Jeremy) Bowling, Grace (Chane) Forsyth, Emily, David and Faith Kalman; Will, Sam, Ryan and Nathan Dunlavey; and Jordan Porche, Alixandrea, Joseph and Rosemary Dunlavey; and great-grandchildren Meghan and Connor Bowling, Asher and Baby due March 2023 Forsyth, and Eliana Dunlavey. Brother to Ellen (Ed) Podhajsky, Mary Dunlavey and Jim (Nina) Dunlavey, Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Emmet and Helene Dunlavey and granddaughter Phebe Dunlavey.  Paul was a long-time resident of Russell Township.  When not building his business PVP Industries, Inc. Paul enjoyed spending time with his family, traveling, and reading voraciously.  Family and friends received at the ST. JOHN FUNERAL HOME, 16381 CHILLICOTHE RD. (RT. 306), CHAGRIN FALLS, 44023 (2.5 MILES NORTH OF RT. 422), MONDAY, DECEMBER 5 FROM 4 – 8 P.M.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, December 6 at St. Joan of Arc Church, 496 E. Washington St., Chagrin Falls at 10:30 A.M.  Interment will be at All Souls Cemetery, Chardon. In lieu of flowers please consider making a donation in honor of Paul’s life to The American Cancer Society or the ALS Foundation.
