NORMA LOUISE HUMMER-MINER, 93 years young of Glenwillow, passed into the arms of her Heavenly Father on Friday, April 9, 2021.  Wife of twenty years to the late Earl Miner.  Norma was the loving daughter of Roman and Mary Hummer, both deceased; loving sister to Marilyn and Bill Synecky, John and Martha (deceased) Hummer, Margie and Bill Terrion, Barbara and Lars Samuelsson, and Susie Hummer.  She was a very loving and devoted Aunt, Great Aunt, Great-Great Aunt to many nieces and nephews.  She truly enjoyed spending time with the family.  Norma was born in Delphos, Ohio and moved to Maple Heights when she was five years old.  She graduated from Marymount High School in three years, Class of 1945.  She worked for the United States Army, Navy, and Air Force Procurement Centers as a budget analyst until retirement.  She was a former Mayor of Glenwillow until she married.  She was a competitive bridge and pinochle player.  She bowled in All Star Scratch Leagues with an average of 185.  She loved animals and her backyard was the home for turkeys, squirrels and deer.  Norma was cremated.  MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL, SATURDAY, MAY 1, 2021 AT 11:00 A.M. AT OUR LADY OF GUADALUPE CHURCH, 9080 Shepard Road, Macedonia, 44056, followed by burial of cremains at All Saints Cemetery, Northfield.  Wearing of masks and social distancing will be observed at church and cemetery.
