MICHAEL T. RICCO, age 76, of Walton Hills.  Beloved husband of Mary (nee Phillips) for 44 years; loving father of Heidi Carpenter-Andonian, Wendy (Paul) Valencic, and Tiffany (Chris Smith) Ricco; grandfather of Blake, Bryce, and Carson Andonian,  Hailey and Luke Valencic; brother of Marcus Ricco, Joseph Ricco, and Phyllis Olivo (all deceased); cherished brother-in-law, cousin, and uncle to many nieces and nephews. Veteran, U.S. Army,Vietnam Era. Mike treasured spending time with his family. He was loved by all who knew him. As soon as you met Mike, you were instantly his friend. He was an active member in his community and took great pride in picking out the restaurants for his “Out-to-Lunch Bunch.” Mike kept his mornings busy after his retirement by working at Sirna’s Café. He enjoyed singing karaoke at the Bedford Café with the many friends he made over the years. He was a great fan of Cleveland sports, especially the Cleveland Indians where he never missed a game no matter where he was – he was either listening or watching. He also was a great supporter of his grandchildren in the many activities they were involved in. Due to the Covid pandemic, the family will hold a Celebration of Mike’s Life later in the year when it’s safe for all to gather. (St. John Funeral Home of Bedford 440-232-1155).
