LAWRENCE N. SABE, age 74, passed away June 15, 2021 in south Florida after courageously battling years of chronic illnesses.  Beloved husband of Sherry (nee Seman); loving father of Jennifer Turner (Eldie), Bonnie Grosel (Ron), Brian Blume (Yanina) and Billy Blume (Lori); cherished grandfather of Brett, Grace, Claire, Giuliana, Drew, Levi and Vivienne; dear brother of Nancy M. Sabe (deceased), Marian A. Aliff (deceased) (Charles, deceased), Donna Mae Steverding (deceased) (William), Thomas J. Sabe (Joyce), and Deborah Eyerdam (William); devoted son of Joseph Wade and Jeanette Sabe (both deceased) and a wonderful and caring uncle to many nieces and nephews.   Larry was a proud U.S. Marine Corps Vietnam Veteran and Purple Heart recipient. He was devoted to the Corps and his Country, hoorah! He had a zest for life, a deep commitment to his faith, and love for his family and dear friends.  Friends received at ST. JOHN FUNERAL HOME, 923 BROADWAY, BEDFORD (ONE MILE WEST OF THE FORBES-BROADWAY EXIT OF I-271), WEDNESDAY, JUNE 23 FROM 3 – 8 P.M. where prayers will be held Thursday, June 24 at 9:15 A.M. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at St. Monica Church, Garfield Hts. at 10:00 A.M.  Cremation to follow.  Interment at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the DAV, Disabled American Veterans, empowering veterans to lead high quality lives with respect and dignity.  Semper Fi!  As a safety precaution for the immunocompromised, the family asks respectfully for those who have not been vaccinated to wear face masks due to Covid-19.
