Jamie Supan Einheit, age 36, died of an aggressive lymphoma on January 17, 2024 after being ill for a brief time. Jamie was the loving wife to Mark; mother to Amelia (2) and Charlie (4) who she loved so fiercely. She was the daughter of Kathy and Tom; sister to Jenny Roszek (Bill), Angie Puzzo (Fabio) and Joe; daughter-in-law of Debbie and Tom Zandier and Jim and Gail Einheit; sister-in-law of Dayna and Kyle Munich; cousin and niece to many; friend, nurse, teacher and inspiration to all. Jamie had a massive stroke at age 15. Her recovery was as miraculous as it was unexpected—at least to those who didn’t know Jamie. She tackled rehab with her typical stubbornness, positivity and humor. Jame found her calling as a nurse, providing healing and comfort to countless patients, both in the neurology and hospice field. Her colleagues remember her as a compassionate caregiver and one who could be depended on to keep her coworkers laughing. She was able to share her passion for nursing and guide a new generation of nurses, as a clinical instructor for Kent State. Jamie laughed, cried and loved with abandon. Her infectious laugh, lovingly referred to as a “hee-haw snort” will ring in our hearts for eternity. Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 23rd from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Holy Angels Church in Bainbridge; Mass will begin at 11:00. Please consider a donation to the Supporting the Einheits GoFundMe to help her husband Mark and their two beautiful girls as they begin to navigate this unimaginable time without the support of their partner and mom.
