Helen Catherine Eged

Helen C. Eged, age 89, passed away on August 10, 2023. She joined the Vincentian Sisters of Charity of Bedford when she was 14 years old and left the order in 1962. She taught in many schools in the Catholic Diocese of Cleveland, including St. Wendelin, Our Lady of Angels, and St. Ignatius Elementary School. Helen loved teaching, babysitting, and taking care of children.

She was preceded in death by her parents and eight siblings. Helen is survived by eleven nieces and nephews and many friends.

Family and friends are invited on Monday August 14^th, 2023 at St. John Funeral Home, 923 Broadway Avenue, Bedford from 10-11am, where Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11am. Interment to follow at Bedford Cemetery, Bedford.
