HAZEL D. JEWETT (nee Blackburn), age 101, of Bedford. Beloved wife of the late Hugh Jewett; loving mother of Ronald (Gwen) and Gerald (Genevieve); dearest grandmother of Ron Jr. (Tracy) Jewett, Amy (Todd) Sadler, Richard (Stacy) Jewett, Tawny Richards and Shannon (Lou) Duricko; dear great grandmother of Adam, Ben, Bryan, Sammy (deceased), Devin (Austin), Abbi, Alex, Cody, JonBrielle, Taylor ( deceased), Gareth (Sarah), Graedon, Louie and Leanna ; great-great grandmother of Brynlee and Ellie. Hazel was predeceased by 11 siblings. Lifelong member of the Bedford Church of the Nazarene. Friends received at THE ST. JOHN FUNERAL HOME, 923 BROADWAY, BEDFORD (ONE MILE WEST OF FORBES-BROADWAY EXIT OF I-271), WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 7 FROM 3 – 7 P.M. Services Thursday, August 8 at the Bedford Church of the Nazarene with visitation from 9:30 A.M. until time of service at 10:30 A.M. followed by burial at Crown Hill Cemetery. (Please meet at church). In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Bedford Church of the Nazarene or Crossroads Hospice & Palliative Care.
