Harry R Logston

Harry Robert Logston, age 95, of Bedford Hts., formerly of Penn Craft, PA. went home to be with the Lord on September 25, 2024. Beloved husband of the late Ruth Logston (Ross) and the late Betty Logston (Nass). Beloved son of the late John H. Logston and Violet R. Logston (Towsend) and Albert Myers.

Beloved father of Robert H. Logston (Barbara) of Show Low, AZ; Daniel R. Logston (Nikala) of Parma, OH; the late Rebecca A. Birchak (Logston) and stepfather of Robert W. Nass (Donna) of Euclid, OH. Dearest brother of Shirley Washabaugh (Ivan, deceased) of Bedford Hts., and Darla Dugan (Joe) of Streetsboro, OH.

Beloved uncle of Nila (Sonny) Benci; Sherry (Dave) Tucholski; Mark (Kim) Logston; Rick (Barb) Washabaugh; Joey Dugan; Sharon (Dale) Daugherty; and Patti Logston.

Beloved grandfather of Brittany, Johnny, and Jessica Birchak. Beloved grandfather of Chris (Natalie) Logston, Shawn (Rosetta) Logston, Kelsey Logston and Miranda (Brian) Dodge. 

Harry was loved by so many friends who knew him for his wonderful smile and sense of humor.

Harry proudly served in the United States Army from 1952 to 1954 in the Korean War. He earned the Korean service medal with two bronze service stars, a good conduct medal, national defense service medal and the United Nations service medal. He was a long-time member of the Walton Hills Church of Christ where he served as an honorary deacon for many years.

Family and friends received at the WALTON HILLS CHURCH OF CHRIST, 7166 DUNHAM ROAD, WALTON HILLS, OH 44146, FRIDAY, OCTOBER 4 FROM 3P.M. – 7P.M. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 5 at Walton Hills Church of Christ at 10 A.M. Burial to follow at Crown Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Walton Hills Church of Christ in memory of Harry.
