Eudice M Tracey

EUDICE “EUDI” TRACEY (nee Margolis). Preceded in death by her parents Florence “Flo” (nee Eglin) and Marvin “Dinny” Margolis of Cleveland; loving mother of Andrew (Margaret) Silberman and the late Amy Silberman; beloved wife of former husband Sam Silberman and Alan Bernstein; dear sister of Euni (late Cantor Norman) Rose; cherished grandmother of Zach, Noah, and Ben Silberman; dearest aunty and great aunty to several nieces and nephews. Eudi grew up in Cleveland with her identical twin Euni. Their parents exposed them to family, social, cultural, and religious gatherings where the two entertained many with their talents. Singing from a young age, Eudi and Euni later became “The Tracey Twins,” performing around the country and recording hits with Reserve Records. Later, Eudi married in Cleveland as did Euni, and the next chapter began. Eudi went on to raise her kids with Sam, and made countless friends through school, Temple, and community organizations. Eudi took over Bea Fried’s Dance Academy in 1977, the Eudi Tracey – Bea Fried Academy of Dance, and was an icon in Chagrin Falls. The family will hold a Celebration of Life at a later date. The family suggests donations to an organization of your choice, or the Alzheimer’s Association.
