Eileen Beckenbach

Eileen Beckenbach, age 90 years died peacefully surrounded by her loving family on December 28^th,2023 of natural causes.   Eileen was born and raised in Northeast Ohio. She spent 25 years in South Florida, but returned to Ohio for the last 20 years of her life. Eileen loved the Lord and spent her life spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ.  She has nine children and many grandchildren and enjoyed cooking and baking for her large family and had perfected the “Kolaczki”. Eileen had a green thumb and always had a beautiful garden and pond that she loved to work in.  One of her great joys in life was setting up a booth at the Flea Market to sell all of her treasures with her sister, Evelyn, and beautiful nieces.  Eileen was a very head strong woman with an incredible work ethic and always fought for the underdog.  Eileen is survived by her children: Linda (Shawn) Telfair,  Michael (Gerlorma) Lintz,  Bill Lintz,  Tom (Ellen) Lintz,  Dan (Cindy) Lintz,  Diane (Tom) Roberts,  Brian Beckenbach and Jeramie (Amanda) Beckenbach.  Also her sister Evelyn and sister-in-law Clelia. Eileen has 17 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, and 6 great great grandchildren.  Eileen is proceeded in death by her son, Terry Lintz, her siblings, Joe, Jim, Dave, Kate and Betty.  We would like to recognize the staff at Altercare in Brimfield for the exceptional job they did taking care of our Mom.  They were so accommodating to the many visitors and treated her with such kindness and respect.  They were a comfort to all of us during a very difficult time.  Thank you for caring. Friends will be received at ST. JOHN FUNERAL HOME, 16381 CHILLICOTHE RD. (RT 306), CHAGRIN FALLS, 44023 (2.5 MILES NORTH OF RT. 422), TUESDAY, JANUARY 2, FROM 4 – 7 P.M., where services will be held on Wednesday, January 3 at 10 A.M. Interment to follow at Restland Cemetery, Bainbridge Twp.
