EDWARD J. RYBAK, age 93, of Maple Hts., passed away Sunday, August 20, 2017. A WW II Veteran, Ed served in the U.S. Army Air Forces, Co. C, 872nd Airborne Engineers BN., Fifth Air Force, in the Southwest Pacific Theater and was among the first units to enter Japan for repair of air fields. Survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Kathryn (nee Miller); son, Edward Jr. (Elaine) Rybak of Portland, OR and daughter, Beverly LeBlanc of Munroe Falls, OH; grandsons, Matt (Summer) LeBlanc of Bethesda, OH and Alexander Rybak of Portland, OR; great granddaughter, Brinley Jo LeBlanc. Ed was the son of the late Edward and Helen (nee Ubel) Rybak. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family with burial at Crown Hill Cemetery, Twinsburg, OH.
