Dorothy L. Emerson

Dorothy L. Emerson (Dersch), age 102, passed away on August 22, 2024. Dorothy was preceded in death by her beloved husband Robert E. Emerson Jr.; and her brother-in-law Roy F. Emerson (Nancy). She was the loving aunt of Kate (Kevin) Budd, Beth (Jack) Brezina and Jeffrey (Kari) Emerson; three great-nieces, two great-nephews, two great-great nephews and one great-great niece.

Dorothy was a lifelong resident of Garfield Heights, OH, moving in 2013 to Holly Hill in Newbury, Ohio. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Brooklyn Heights United Church of Christ. She was an ardent fan of the Cleveland Indians and Browns and loved spending time with her family and friends.

Funeral Service will be held on Monday, August 26, 2024 11am at St. John Funeral Home, 16381 Chillicothe Road, Chagrin Falls, OH 44023. Burial to follow at Brooklyn Heights Cemetery, Cleveland, OH.
