Donna M. Miller

DONNA M. MILLER (nee Park), age 84, entered peacefully into Heaven on January 18, 2025. She was born on September 14, 1940, in Lakewood, Ohio, to the late Milton C. and Dorothy (nee Boehm) Park. Donna was the big sister to Butch, Colette (McFarland), and George, who greeted her at the gates of Heaven. Donna received degrees in science and education from Ursuline College in 1962. She taught science at John Marshall High School during the unsettled days of desegregation in Cleveland Public Schools. A tiny lady with a stern voice and a big heart, Donna helped guide many wandering students down the right path. Donna and her late husband, Bill, had four girls: Lisa (John), Julie (Mark), Carol (Scott), and Angela (Jeff); two grandchildren: Colton and Chase; and three extended grandchildren: Jonathan, Jordan, and Dominique. Donna’s hobbies included reading, theater, word searches, and praying the rosary. She lived her Catholic faith through prayers and action. She volunteered as a PSR teacher for many young adults preparing for confirmation. She was the first to offer prayers to family and friends who needed them. 

Relatives and friends received at St. Joan of Arc Church, 496 E Washington St, Chagrin Falls, OH on Monday, January 27 from 9:30 – 10:45 AM followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM and internment at Holy Cross Cemetery, 14609 Brookpark Road, Brook Park, OH. 

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to The Poor Clare Colettine Nuns at 3501 Rocky River Drive, OH 44111, or John’s Place Homeless Shelter at St. Agnes Church, 523 Front Street, Greenport, NY 11944.
