Dolores M Safko

DOLORES M. SAFKO (nee Kiss) age 93, of Newbury, OH.  Born in Cleveland, OH to Albert and Helen (nee Kinczel) Kiss, both of her parents passed away when she was a young child.  Dolores was raised by Steven and Rose (nee Kinczel) Merker.  Beloved wife of the late Robert for 70 years.  Loving mother of Roberta (Thomas Jr.) Gurko, Barbara (Rodrigo Sr.) Madrigal and Kelly (Rickey) Ketring; dearest grandmother of Thomas Gurko III, Timothy Gurko, Anne-Marie Balcer, Rodrigo Madrigal Jr., Raquel Castro, Amy Ketring and William Ketring; dear great-grandmother of 8.  Sister of the late Laverne (late Vincent) Turco, sister-in-law of JoAnn (Karl) Beres, the late Donald (late Helen) Safko.  Beloved Aunt, Godmother, and “grandma” to many.   Dolores will be remembered as having a strong sense of faith, love of her family and importance of her Hungarian heritage.  The family would like to thank Ohman at Holly for the care and compassion provided over the last four years of Dolores’ life. WHERE A SERVICE WILL BE HELD MONDAY, DECEMBER 18 AT 11 A.M. Burial to follow at All Saints Cemetery.
