David M. Shead

David Michael Shead, 57, of Hinckley, Ohio was called home Sunday November 13th, at home, peaceful with the love of his life of 37 years, Lila (nee Stubbs) at his side. The King arrived in Cleveland, Ohio on February 17,1965 to beloved parents Betty (Pommier) and Floyd Shead. Dave was a devoted, loving husband, an incredible father, and world class PopPop to his 3 grandchildren, Colt and his twincesses Avery and Peyton. His devotion to his family and friends was unparalleled and if you were inside his circle, you knew it. David's passions, second to his family and friends, were his motorcycle, boating and camping. There was never a dull moment when Dave was around. A good time was always to be had and his favorite thing was to make people laugh. He is preceeded in death by his Mom and Dad, beloved brother Douglas, niece Cristine, and nephew Danny Boy. He is survived by his wife Lila, son Nicholas, daughter Kelli (Chris Finkbeiner), grandchildren Colt, Peyton and Avery, sisters Julie (Dean Kohanyi), Patti (Tom Walker) nieces Amber, Heather, Hayley, nephews Brian and Greg, Austin and Garrett, and many God Children. Please join us for a celebration of Dave's life Saturday, December 10th at 12:00 noon, at Sherwood Forest Event Center, 12900 Tinkers Creek Rd., Valley View, OH 44125.
