Dan A. Morell Sr.

DAN A. MORELL SR., age 89, of Parma. Beloved husband of Mary Ann (nee Mallinak) for 66 years; devoted father of Dan Jr., Carol Zimmerman (Mark), David (Linda), late Tony (Linda) and Jim (Holly); loving grandfather of Halley, Dan III and Karly Morell, and Zachary and Nicholas Zimmerman, and David Morell Jr, Gina DiGeronimo, Maria Buoncore, and Tony, Michael and Bryan Morell, and James, Mallory, and Thomas Morell; dear great-grandfather of seven. Veteran, U.S. Army, Korean Conflict. Dan was an avid baseball player, golfer, and Cleveland sports fan. He was a longtime member of Southwest Italian American Club. Among Dan’s varied enterprises were Alert Transmission, Salesman in Trucking Industry and Haircrafters Salons.   Friends received at the FORTUNA FUNERAL HOME, 7076 BRECKSVILLE RD., INDEPENDENCE, SUNDAY, AUGUST 28 FROM 2 – 6 P.M., where closing prayers will be held on Monday, August 29 at 9:15 A.M., followed by Mass of Christian Burial  at St. Columbkille Church, 6740 Broadview Rd., Parma, at 10 A.M. Burial All Saints Cemetery.
