BENJAMIN F. “BENNY” OVERLOW age 80 of Twinsburg. Beloved husband of Lynn (nee Forro) for 32 years; loving father of Mark (Ann) Overlow, Kelly (Bob) Chessar and Lauren LoPresti-Daiger (Josh); dearest grandfather of Nathan, Brenna, and Jae; dear brother of Kathy Lubowicki (Vince), Patrice Podgorny (Rudy deceased), Marianne Penton (J.B.); and many nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Benjamin and Helen Overlow; siblings Glen Overlow (Mary), Betty Hadrich (Jerry), Cheryl Matthews, and John Overlow; brother-in-law Archie Kowalewski; in-laws Julius and Antoinette Forro; and grandsons Christian and Jonathon Overlow. Benny was a graduate of Bedford High School and was an Army veteran with boots on the ground in Korea. He was a career truck driver, retiring from Heinen’s with over 20 years of service. Benny was always willing to help out family, friends, neighbors, or even strangers. He was known as “Mr. Fix It”. Benny was passionate about motorcycles, especially Harleys, along with spending time with children, donuts, and coffee.
Family and friends will be received at ST. JOHN FUNERAL HOME, 16381 CHILLICOTHE RD. (RT 306), CHAGRIN FALLS, 44023 (2.5 MILES NORTH OF RT. 422), FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 10, 2023 FROM 4PM. – 7P.M. until a closing service at 7 P.M. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that friends plant a tree in his memory or make a donation to Wounded Warrior Project https://www.woundedwarriorproject.org/.
