Barbara Ann Wasko

BARBARA ANN WASKO (nee Horne) aka “Grambo”, age 67, of Bedford, Ohio passed away peacefully on April 3, 2025. Cherished daughter of the late Thomas R. and Winifred “Winnie” (nee Dorricott) Horne; loving mother of Pete Balishin and Christine Balishin; dearest grandmother of Logan Balishin; sister of the late Kathleen (Pat) Gill and Lynda Whitt; aunt of Anthony Whitt and Trisha Lake, great aunt of Dylan Lake, and friend to many. Barbara was loved by many. She lived her life helping others. Barbara’s extended service with the Oakwood Village Police Department exemplified her love of community and willingness to help others. She was active in the community working with inner city youth alongside her sister, Kathleen. Barbara loved to plan events and help improve the quality of life for others. She will be missed and always loved by many. There will be a Celebration of Life as planned by the family at a later date.
