Audrey Marie Mathies

Audrey Marie Mathies (nee Bartko), age 86, of Bedford passed away on May 28, 2023 with her sons by her side.

She was born November 15, 1936 to John and Loretta Bartko. She was the loving wife of Gene whom she married on December 11, 1954. She worked at Spray On Manufacturing for many years until her retirement. She enjoyed crafting, camping, making floral arrangements, and spending time with her family. She also had a big heart for animals.

She is survived by her sons Gene, Robert (Karen), and David; brothers John and Dennis (Mary); sisters Judy, and Barbara (Jim); grandchildren Katie (Gary), Andrew (Tiffany), Adam (Hannah), Vanessa, Clayton, and Victoria; and great-grandchildren Taylor, Sophie, Jacob, Daniel, and Mason.

She was preceded in death by her husband Gene; parents John and Loretta; sister Dolores; and granddaughter Elizabeth.

Relatives and friends will be received at St. John Funeral Home, 923 Broadway Avenue, Bedford, on Friday, June 2 at 10am, where Funeral Service will take place at 11am with burial to follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Peninsula.
