Arden White Fall - at 92, best Wife, Mom, Nanny, and Friend - passed away on January 24, 2024. Born as Joan Arden White on December 5, 1931, in Chicago to Walter and Edna (Landon) White with younger brother David (deceased). She was a Spanish major at Lawrence College in Appleton, WI where, as a freshman Alpha Delta Pi coed met handsome Phi Delta Theta, Harry Fall. After graduation (with Honors), they married in 1953 and Arden was a happy Naval aviator wife, going from Pensacola, FL to Hutchinson, KS to Honolulu, HI. Their daughter, Susan (deceased, 1954-56) was born in Hawaii. Daughter Pamela came in 1957 after Harry’s Navy Active Duty transitioned to Reserve Navy and brought them stateside. Relishing her role as homemaker and mother in the Chicago suburbs, she was room mom, Brownie leader, and volunteered at Horizons for the Blind, and encouraged Pam at piano and school activities. When Harry retired in 1993, they moved to Chagrin Falls, Ohio to be with family. Her passions were for people, cooking (her therapy), hospitality, decorating, art, and opera. She especially enjoyed traveling the world with her adventure partner, Harry! Once in Chagrin Falls, as an avid reader she got involved in book club and Chagrin Falls Current Events Club. She had fun with the Auburn Lakes social committee, but mostly attending McKenna and Jack’s many recitals, concerts, and sporting events. Arden was known to be the sweetest soul, selfless and caring and will be deeply missed by her loving husband of 70 years, Harry Fall, daughter Pamela Leonetti (Frank), grandchildren McKenna Leonetti and Jackson Leonetti (Shannon), great-grandson Bodhi Jackson Leonetti and dearest friends and family. If desired, in lieu of flowers, please make a contribution to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (cff.org) in her and her daughter, Susan’s memory. A service to remember Arden and greet family will be held at Parkside Church, 7100 Pettibone Rd., Chagrin Falls, OH 44023 on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at 11:00am with lunch to follow. Private burial.
