Alice Marie Squires

ALICE MARIE SQUIRES (nee Fordanish), age 85 of Guys, TN formerly of Bedford, OH. Beloved wife of George Teslovich(deceased) and Raymond Squires(deceased); loving mother of Sheryl Docs, Diane (Frank) Yenchick, and Gregory (Velvet) Teslovich; dearest grandmother of Alexandra, Isabella and Frank Jr. Yenchick, Taylor (Eric) Phillips, and Zachary (Morgan) Teslovich; dear great-grandmother of Layla, Theo and Tucker Teslovich; sister of Cecilia Kolbe (deceased) and Andrew Fordanish Jr. Alice came from Pennsylvania, where she was born and raised, to Cleveland, Ohio, along with “Cookie” Teslovich to work at Ohio Bell. They became good friends and Alice met her future husband, George Teslovich, who at the time was serving in the U.S. Marine Corps in Japan. Later in her life, Alice became very active in the union at her place of work and traveled all over the country going to union meetings with her second husband, Raymond Squires. Alice was a devout Catholic and was influenced as such by her mother, also named Alice, who walked the hilly countryside of Pennsylvania to attend church daily. Family and friends received at ST. MARY CHURCH, 340 UNION STREET, BEDFORD, MONDAY, JULY 15 from 10:00 A.M. – 11:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 A.M. Burial at All Saints Cemetery, Northfield.
