Thomas Blair Wallace Jr., age 69, of Auburn Twp., succumbed to liver cancer after a five year battle. He is survived by his wife of forty-nine years, Michelle (nee Scabbo), and his six children; Dawn Rahman (Mohammed), Thomas Blair Wallace III (Kristina), Erin Wallace, Kristin Steele (Michael), Lauren Wallace-Enriquez (Owen) and Robyn Wallace-Cuttaia (Anthony). He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, two brothers, two sisters and their families. He was preceded in death by his parents, two stepfathers, an older sister and her husband, his wife’s parents, plus her twin sister, Jayne Robinson. He was also an uncle and great uncle. He served for almost two decades as a police officer, but was most proud of the nearly 1,000 kids he taught as “Officer Tom” at Orange School district’s Safety Town. Friends received at the ST. JOHN FUNERAL HOME, 16381 CHILLICOTHE ROAD (RT 306), CHAGRIN FALLS, 44023 (2.5 MILES NORTH OF RT. 422), THURSDAY 5 – 8 P.M. where prayers will be held Friday, July 14 at 12:15 P.M. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at Church of the Holy Angels, Bainbridge Twp. at 1 P.M. Interment at All Saints Cemetery at a later date.
